Greenhouse gas (GHG) verification department is established to ensure the operation of operators in the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Trading Scheme where the operator provides GHG emissions monitoring, data collection, annual GHG emission reports and periodic Baseline data (5 year periodicity) according to EK Regulation No 2018/2066.

Verification tasks include evaluating the operator's monitoring activities for compliance with the GHG emissions permit and the terms of the Monitoring Plan, verifying the information reported in the GHG emissions and Baseline data reports, and evaluating the accuracy, reliability and traceability of the data, preparing verification reports. The verification process is performed in accordance with accredited verification procedures based on EK Regulation 2018/2067 requirements.
